Tucker Beathard is working on a full-length studio album to release in 2017, but when his song “Rock On” first started to take off, he wanted to give the fans more music to get to know him, so he released his six-song EP, Fight Like Hell, and he admits it was tough to pick only six songs for that project. Tucker says, “It’s kind of a whole batch of songs from like 15 to 21 years old. And you develop a lot as an artist and being on the road for a couple of years and change a lot of creative things and develop you as an artist. You learn who you are more as an artist.”
Even with that growth and development, Tucker still felt like some of the earlier songs he wrote were strong and needed to be heard, so he says, it was tough to narrow it down. Tucker co-wrote every song on his EP, including his latest single, “Momma and Jesus.”

Tucker Beathard – choosing songs for EP :24
“It was tough because it’s kind of a whole batch of songs from like 15 to 21 years old. And you develop a lot as an artist and being on the road for a couple of years and change a lot of creative things and develop you as an artist. You learn who you are more as an artist. But I still feel like there were some good songs from younger times and so it’s kind of picking and choosing kind of each chapter, and you know, and it’s tough.”
