Zac Brown’s Southern Ground empire down in Georgia is enough to keep him busy every hour of every day, but with five kids and a wife he loves very much, letting the business take all of his time is not an option. Zac says he’s able to do so much and be a good family man because, “I have great people, great help to do it. I totally disengage from all this when I get to be with my kids and have time that’s just for me and them. And it’s always a moving target, I gotta always be aware of what’s goin’ on and try not to let my schedule completely…’cause we have to say no to so many amazing things, we try to make the ones count that we can do and then try to really focus on the things that matter and the connection with my family.”
Zac and the band are currently out on their Black Out the Sun Tour, bringing their latest single, “Castaway,” to the masses, but they’ve set up their tour dates in a way that allows them all to get home to their families in between dates.
